Defense should force him to do so on the stand and use him to ask all the questions they want. He can invoke the 5th but those questions will be heard by the jury. "Did you see Floyd swallow all the fentanyl in the car?" Where you and Floyd selling drugs?" 100 questions that would kill the prosecution.
