Don’t forget to Vote, let’s throw these rascals out!

I am going right now, but let me tell you this first.

For the last two weeks I worked, I swiped my index finger on the fingerprint reader at work when I arrived and the LCD screen told me who I was and the date and time I punched in. It told me this when I swiped out for lunch and when I came back and when I left for the day. One day I think I forgot to swipe in I went to my cubicle and logged into the Kronos time keeping web page to verify that I indeed swiped in on time. So this went on for two weeks then my boss logged into the Kronos time keeping web page to check the hours I worked for two weeks and emailed me a screenshot of the final time for my approval. He then sent it to the payroll department to package it up with everyone else’s time information. They took all this and uploaded it to the ADP company who we contract with for payroll. When they received it they calculated all my taxes and deductions. Then they electronically sent the net pay to direct deposit at my bank. When they did this I immediately received an email on my Smartphone that a deposit was made. I clicked on the link in the email that to sent me to a PDF file of my check and check stub showing taxes, deductions, and net pay. Shortly after that I logged into my online banking account and looked in my checking account to verify the net pay amount was indeed deposited to my checking account via direct deposit. The next day I went to my mailbox there was a paper copy of my check and check stub for my files. I would use it to enter my paycheck info into my Quicken program so it is easier to balance at the end of the month. As long as I had a PDF file I could download from the ADP website I downloaded it and attached it as a file to the entry in the Quicken checking account. The next day my paper bank statement showed up in the mail so I downloaded the checking account data from the Bank into the Quicken program and it balanced. I had a bunch of bills I paid while balancing my checking account so on my way to vote I am going to stop by an ATM and get $20 out and check my checking account balance. Got to the ATM and withdrew $20 and the machine printed a receipt showing the exact time down to the second I made my withdrawal and what was left in my account. So I went in to the polling place and told them my name and address and they pointed me to a booth, I picked my candidates on the touch screen then went home. On the way home I got to wondering where did my vote go? Is my vote associated with me personally? Can I go online to some web page and see where it went? Can I look on a receipt to see if I voted for the people I thought I voted for? Will something show up in the mail for my permanent records? Or should I just be happy I got a little sticker that says “I Voted”. Maybe I could find out where it went over here http://www.ballot-integrity.org/docs/bbv_Part1.pdf
