I'm sorry you had to go through that. Did she say why she stuck around?

This is another reason why single parenthood is so bad, and we should get back to condemning sex before marriage and make it more difficult to get divorced.

Step fathers are always potential threats to young girls.

Also, the corporate fake news media loves to accuse Catholic priests of pedophilia, but sexual assaults are much more commonplace in government public schools and in Hollywood culture.

100%

Your child has a higher chance of being molested by the teacher or sports coach than the Catholic priest.

Yeah, the danger with the Catholic priests was that they have the Catholic church protecting them - in Ireland they shuffled around offending priests to protect them which just meant they had even more victims, but as far as likelihoods go it's less likely for a priest to be one than the average.

They shuffled them around in Canada as well. The church made a huge mistake doing that and should have tackled the problem head on. Inexcusable.

I was about to say that the Catholic priest thing has the "Shock value" (you expect more from moral leaders) and also feeds the anti-religious bigotry.

But you're right. The Church has used its influence to protect the wrong people.

One Monsignor pointed to a file drawer and said he it was full of letters from psychiatrists clearing Fr "Domesday" for return to duty, suggesting a change of parish for sensitivity's sake.
Of course, those shrinks knew that Fr "Domesday" would simply bounce back and the Church would keep paying and paying. Finally, the priesthood is not "just a job." The bishops have a "duty of care" for the souls of their priests. just as the priests have a duty of care for their parishioners.

Not to mention that nobody wants to talk about the rampant pedophilia by rabbis. Letโ€™s also note that the Catholic scourge of molestation was basically homosexuals that were allowed to enter the church and who then attracted more homosexuals. The church needs to be purged of the degeneracy, but itโ€™s also intentional because the current Luciferian pope is actually a plant, whether he knows it or not. Iโ€™ve known for a while now that certain countries and agencies have been directly operating to corrupt the church by corrupting the roots.

If you haven't already, read Infiltration, a book by Taylor Marshall.

Is that what they keep telling you in sunday school?

Yup. At my high school alone 2 teachers were fired for sleeping with students.

2 female teachers were fired at mine with 1 male sent to jail. 1 of them came off as a surprise, but the entire school knew what the other 2 were doing. He would even joke about it at practice. He told one kid "if you ever need me at night, just go check under your sister's covers." We all knew he wasn't lying. He was cheating on his SO with teachers and students. The only reason it ended is because one teacher he was having an affair with walked in on her 15 year old daughter going down on him at school.

Was this like a small town by chance where this guy had elevated social status because he was simply a coach and had like ok looks (biggest fish in small pond) Or was this normal sized city + school and this dude was just good at manipulating people...I ask because my wife is from a small town and people who I figured where just average shmos are treated like kings in the rural podunk towns. Simply having a military background and playing football at some point gives you like tons of pull.

In cases where the abuser is the father the kid would be better off with the mother being a single parent.

In cases where the abuser is the mother or the father the kid would be better off with a single parent. FTFY.

Can we not be Reddit idiots? Sure, youโ€™re correct in theโ€ฆ whatโ€ฆ 0.5% of times that itโ€™s a female abuser. Unless youโ€™re talking about all types of abuse, including neglect and negligence, but we simply donโ€™t have the resources to even deal with that aspect.

She was probably abused as a kid too. This does NOT excuse what she did. My mother was in the same situation, but I canโ€™t forgive her.

We make choices. I chose not to have kids and I chose not to ever abuse anyone, despite multigenerational incest in my family. Itโ€™s horrifying. Both my parents should be in jail. My father just kept quiet and covered everything up. My abuser was primarily my grandfather and he was a cop. NYPD had a pedo ring.

She never said but I can tell you she was incredibly dependent on being with a man. She was and is a terrible excuse for a parent. Without Jesus Christ in my life, I donโ€™t know how Iโ€™d manage to get through each day.

Here, I'll dumb it down for you:

why she stuck around

There's no excuse for being an evil person. The "why" is what cowards look for when they try to avoid the painful truth.
