EDIT: Woo buddy I knew I'd hurt some bootys with that one. God's perfect and unerring word has the ability to be misinterpreted and mistranslated and people get angry when I point it out.
A translation into an archaic form of English is not a mistranslation, smart guy, the way people use words shift over the centuries. In that version, they use 'kill' for unjustified killings and 'slay' for justified ones.
If the word of god is perfect and infallible then he should protect it from such errors that cause problems like this. This is after all his perfect divine word. There should be no room for misinterpretation.
What part of the English fucking language changed over centuries of use do you not understand? A translation of God's Word into common English 500 years ago will obviously read a bit differently than a translation of God's Word into the common English of today. Are you being deliberately obtuse, or do you just have extra chromosomes?
The Almighty God can't even protect His Perfect Word from changes in the way humans use language? You'd think something essential like The Words of God Made Manifest would be important to protect.
Something sounds off about this situation.
What's obtuse is believing in in all kind of fanciful creation myths by a perfect creator and then turn around to also belie that the perfect creator is a certified retard.
Dude, I'm an atheist and even I know that quoting a mistranslation is a faggoty strawman. That's the equivalent of quoting some shit out of context to make it say what you want it to say instead of what it actually means.
You gonna try and argue that Trump publicly praised white supremacists while you're at it?
Apologists....
also apologists...
