Vengeance is evil. Pedophiles need to be taken out of society to protect children, either by the courts or through extrajudicial means if they won’t do it. That doesn’t make it ok to hate the pedo. They wouldn’t be one if they could help it. In fact, it’s the same evil spirit driving them which causes you to hate them and seek retribution.
Nobody's forcing them to molest kids in the first place - plenty of heterosexual people live chaste lives, how is this even justification? The non offending ones need serious help, maybe one day we'll be able to cure their diseased minds, but the moment they touch a child I couldn't care less if someone shoved them feet first into a woodchipper.
I think it's more evil not to want vengeance against someone that assaults your child, that shows a level of apathy that is unnerving, at that point you're almost more of a machine than a human being.
Yes, the Bible says to leave vengeance to the lord, but it also says the punishment for rapists is death.
