My daughter is 6. Sheโs getting to that age where sheโll be wanting to have friends over and go to friends houses. As my parents did, Iโll vet the parents as well. And I will tell the fathers if they touch my kid I will end them. I will proudly go to jail for doing this exact same thing. Wouldnโt change the trauma, but at least I would know that he would never do it again to another. Thatโs justice in my eyes.
I'm a father of a young girl and if you told me don't touch my daughter or I'll end you. I'd tell you and your daughter to fuck off for assuming that I'm a pedophile. I think it's a known rule not to touch children inappropriately. I don't need you to threaten me.
I would casually bring up my love of guns and show pictures. Invite them to come shooting, let them know in a friendly way I can use a gun and am not scared to. Seems like a better option.
Tact would definitely be applied and in a calm manner of discussion. But sternly and in all seriousness. Itโs not something to be naive about just to save someoneโs feelings over your childโs safety with something as prevalent and serious as abuse/molestation. I stand by my statement and make no apologies, especially when it comes to my kid.
