Oh I have zero love for shrinks whatsoever, but that doesn't rob the church of agency - in the end they covered for the offenders and moved them around, giving them access to new children. The following orders excuse didn't cut it for others, why should it for them?
Because they paid millions and were rooked for millions by shrinks who lied through their plastic teeth to them. The transfer to a new parish was also the recommendation of the Sons of Freud...who had to know they were not recoverable...and it is the cousins of the Sons of Freud that are now bankrupting the church systematically for the trickery of the Freudians.
The Church's big mistake was ignoring Christ's admonition: "Better a millstone be hung about their neck and they be drowned..." etc. not advocating murder but clarifying the severity of the condition...
