If the word of god is perfect and infallible then he should protect it from such errors that cause problems like this. This is after all his perfect divine word. There should be no room for misinterpretation.

What part of the English fucking language changed over centuries of use do you not understand? A translation of God's Word into common English 500 years ago will obviously read a bit differently than a translation of God's Word into the common English of today. Are you being deliberately obtuse, or do you just have extra chromosomes?

The Almighty God can't even protect His Perfect Word from changes in the way humans use language? You'd think something essential like The Words of God Made Manifest would be important to protect.

Something sounds off about this situation.

What's obtuse is believing in in all kind of fanciful creation myths by a perfect creator and then turn around to also belie that the perfect creator is a certified retard.
