This (more than 100% voter registration) has been going all over the US for decades. Ever since they enacted laws making it super easy to register - motor voter, register by mail, etc.

Before the election, I told a friend I would not be surprised if Trump got 400 electoral college votes. I did not expect it, but would not have been surprised.

I now believe the true number was somewhere around 380.
