There is a way out, but we need to wake up more people first. A lot aren't stupid, they just haven't done the right risk/reward calculations, and they need to be shown just how serious this is before it does become too late.
I'm hoping some of the Constitutional showdowns that are coming soon serve that purpose. If not, the only thing that's going to wake up the sleepers is going to be tragedy that dwarfs what we've seen so far.

I'm beginning to believe that Facebook (maybe also Twitter, but especially Facebook) is a government created and funded company, using Zuck as the CEO to present it as a private company, as a tool for data gathering, thought control, narrative creation, and ultimately a ministry of truth. Essentially after he stole the idea from the Winkelvoss twins, and it was a small college campus tool, the government saw the potential and approached him as the "investors", sunk $1B into almost immediately, even before it was profitable or showed that it could be scalable, and from there installed their people on the board, hired the first group of CFOs, COOs etc, VPs and even some fo the developers, and then took off from there

Whats interesting about Facebook is its founding suspiciously in the same month (if im remembering correctly) that LifeLog was killed off. LifeLog was a DHS project to document everything about everyones lifes.
Now a few years back, maybe 2017, the DHS announced the HART program. This program set out to replace the biometric database on Americans and those that travel through the US, currently its fingerprints and stuff. HARTs goal was/is to have facial scans of everyone and even know their "unassumed aquaintences" ie everyone you come in contact with. And a whole bunch of other surveillance state goodies.
Interestingly enough after this project was approved Apple moved to facial scans to unlock phones + eliminated the thumb print, and the pandemic is introducing contact tracing. Theres a lot more going on too. Seems like things are moving swimmingly for the surveillance state.
Makes you wonder if this is all planned since things are moving in lockstep during this dark winter, maybe we'll build back better.
