Prostitution should be decriminalized, with all freed up time and effort targeting sex trafficking, specially of minors. And we need to end the War on Drugs, it's a waste of time, money, and sends too many non violent offenders to long tern prison.

Rest is BS. That's my libertarian input.

I’d rather prostitution stay illegal. The moral deterioration of society is where conservatives have a better grasp of the bigger picture than libertarians.

Making something illegal makes it less safe and connects it to other illegal activities. I do not like prostitution, I think it is disgusting and dangerous. However, laws do not stop it. After all, it is said that prostitution is the oldest profession. Legalizing it cuts down on the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases, and the rest of the crime that typically accompanies it. Not so different with prohibition. When we banned alcohol, it went to the black market and gave organized crime a foothold. Same with marijuana. Marijuana, when illegal must be sold on the black market. Last I checked, drug dealers don't check ID, or do any sort of quality control- not to mention that they also sell it alongside a plethora of other illicit substances. Just because we don't like something doesn't mean we should make it illegal, all this does is exacerbate the problem. I'm not saying we should be selling pussy and blow at the liquor store, but we really shouldn't be throwing people in prison for it either. The heart wants what the heart wants. If you want it bad enough, you will figure out how to get it, laws be damned. You know how we say, "when you outlaw guns, only outlaws have guns"? This is the same concept, and it holds true across the board.
