That means nothing. He wasn’t caught in a crime and he was senselessly murdered by two vigilantes. His history is irrelevant in this case.

Since the people at the scene had called the cops, .. the older guy was on the phone with them līve while it occured, .. there's no proof that they were actually attempting a 'citizen's arrest'.

Holding someone for the cops, and a 'citizen's arrest' are different things.

Georgia apparently removed citizen's legal ability to arrest perpetrators (even though that wasn't a factor) , and left intact the ability to hold suspects for the police (which is what was occurring.)
