If you knew you didn't want it, why did you still get a tray of food just to throw it away?
I think the teachers sort of pressure them into getting a tray of food just to encourage them to eat, even if the kids openly state they don't want it or that they are not hungry.
They utilize the money for shit food then shave the rest off for "program managers" and pay people for commie AA positions in the cities and who knows where the rest goes...? It's another money laundering scheme. Having grown up in a large city and going to schools in the hood the food WAS mostly crap. Then becoming an actual chef...the hard way...from the ground up...learned what you can make with very "little"...and make it taste fantastic.
