I was getting my car's oil changed in North Charleston, so waiting on a bench outside. A car salesman came by and we started talking and I mentioned I was from Long Island. He asked what brought me down here (though I moved down 16 years ago) and I mentioned the high taxes. He thought it was because LI was a tourist destination. Had a good laugh at that. I said of was infested with democrats. He quickly left after that. I wonder why.
