As well you should. I didnt do that second guessing last summer when I was attracted to Bend Oregon to hook up with family on holiday there. It was a nightmare. A sad nightmare. Use to be such a beautiful fun place to visit. Total mask, distancing, santitizing paranoia to the point of closing shops during the day to "sanitize" the store. Monitored "sanitization" stations at the door of businesses before you could go in. I had a conversation with an 8 year old who was afraid all his friends would "forget" him because he couldnt go to school and wondered how many had ALREADY DIED. Can you imagine filling a child with this kind of madness? Its abuse of the highest order. Even outdoor farmers markets had the same "requirements". Never had such a disappointing time while on holiday. I dont plan on going back there again. Oh, and dont get me started on the restaurant thing there....OMG.....
