tanks/jets/ships need fuel. In a full blown conflict, its fair to assume supply of those will be harder and harder to come by. add to that, every refinery operator I know is a gun loving libertarian sick of big government taxes. Just have to stay in the fight long enough to even the field, 2 months tops.
