It's hilarious that they tried to be so edgy and then ultimately face planted with this thing. Two years ago I sort of thought "eh, a black dude that says he likes country, IDK, maybe he's trying to build some ties with rural America." That's about as much as I knew or cared about Lil Nas until all this came about. Now I'm just laughing.
So, if I understand this, this would mean if I took a standard Ford car and put my logo on it and resold it as "Space Force NCC-1701" that Ford could sue me? Gee Wally, that hard to wrap my head around.
True -- once we buy a product with whatever little money Joe let's us have, we can do longer do what we want with it
Sound like purchasing the right to hear s song or watch a show, you don't own it.
Nike did make the base shoe, someone bought that, added their own value (art) and resold it. Not an official product, but not illegal. Shoe needs to come with some TOC or click to accept laces
He is rebranding a Nike product as his own and I do not think he is going to make it out of court with a favorable ruling. I expect it to settle out of court with either Nike trying to capitalize on the PR with a more reasonable shoe with his name on them or they get financial compensation for damages under the threat of a counter lawsuit.
All this will do is make the ones already released go up in price for now they are LIMITED Limited Edition. Unless they have some plan to get the ones already in possession(no pun intended) back from the owners.
no fuck that if he wants to me some dumb fucking shoes and people want to buy I'm all for it. Long as someone can make god sandals it's all good. now if it was ripping off Nike that is different.
The thing that bothers me most about it is Nike presented its case that it is concerned about brand imaging and some of the public thinking they support satanism. That’s a bullshit and patronizing case to make to me because they certainly weren’t concerned with their image when they supported and hired Kaepernick. A lot more people hated them for that.
They have a case and I think it is sound, but stick to the merits that this guy had people take a Nike shoe and alter it and is selling it for profit. Don’t play it like the company is doing it for anything else but money.
This is what you get...
Nothing, and you're fucked.

Only if you use the Ford name, logo or anything else they trademarked

Maybe the pope will bid on them
HolymanFrank69 has sent a best offer
And where does the drops of blood come from judge? 🤔

Is that Turbo from Breakin’ 2 Electric Boogaloo?
Ahhh yes, Electric Boogaloo. At least those videos haven’t been banned yet. BOOGALOO SHRIMP!!
Our God is an awesome god
Why did nike seek to halt the distribution of their own shoes?
Because this wasn't actually a Nike authorized product. All of the headlines everywhere said "Limited edition Satan Nikes"
That's an attempt to profit off of someone else's trademark.
they were all sold
̶M̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶d̶e̶a̶l̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶S̶a̶t̶a̶n̶ give lapdance to, then get plowed by Satan FTFY
Doesn’t he suck dick? Pimp C rolling I. His grave rt now.
The fact we have people running around willing to buy a pair of tennis shoes for $1,000 is an astonishing feat in itself.
Damn shame they will have to spend that welfare and stimulus money on something else completely stupid.

It was always about the publicity anyway.
I don’t get it. Nike made and sold a glorified tennis shoe that looks retarded, has a drop of blood in it somewhere, but then pulls the range?
Also, Nikes head office is in...
Dun dun duuuuun! ...Portland
So now they're worth 10x more on the black market?
i am sure white people bought them too
