The constitutionality of this law may be challenged at SCOTUS by Jay Sekulow's ACLJ. He has won every case he has argued involving religious freedom, and two-thirds of the judges are Roman Catholic.

So, does the Biblical social vision survive under the Constitution? Frankly, while very far from dead, it is looking queasy, ill nourished, nervous, and unwell.

Church attendance isn't good, neither is the marriage rate, or the birthrate.

Everybody normal is standing around un-buttressed. Unsupported. Standing up without the former usual supports. On their own and vulnerable.

There are a lot of normal people around, but they are a bit unmoored from the institutions of church and family that made them so all-fired normal, and they may be the last of the Normal-hicans.

THESE THINGS ARE NEVER DECIDED IN COURT. THE COURTS LOOK OUT THE WINDOW, AND DO WHAT THE POPULATION WANTS THEM TO DO.

Yes, the courts have been politicized. But no court ever really decided anything: they can only affirm what the smartest and best people think and say, and make them triumph over the worst people.

If there AREN'T ANY smart or good people, the court cannot do anything all by itself.
