Hi everyone, I'm usually just a lurker but wanted to ask for some advice. I was told by the HR rep at my work that "White people do not have a cultural identity but Black people do". I told her this was clearly racist and she set up an appointment for me with the Equity group to discuss. Any advice or data on white culture to help convince the Equity division people would be appreciated.

White people have dozens of different cultural identities. Irish, French, Spanish, Italian, etc are all distinct and unique cultures. Black people also have many different cultures based on their heritage. Different areas of Africa as well as the Caribbean have distinct differences. Why do these so-called equity folks insist on lumping them all together based only on their skin color?
This is correct, and we had a shared American culture with all races for the most part up until the 1970s. That’s when the deep state created a new culture for black people. As an American who happens to be white, my culture is love of freedom, Christianity, patriotism toward my country and American traditions. The American and Christian traditions and holidays I follow are a part of my culture.
