Hi everyone, I'm usually just a lurker but wanted to ask for some advice. I was told by the HR rep at my work that "White people do not have a cultural identity but Black people do". I told her this was clearly racist and she set up an appointment for me with the Equity group to discuss. Any advice or data on white culture to help convince the Equity division people would be appreciated.

Your name itself, half of it anyhow, has part of the culture they deny, Cowboy. Not exclusively 'white' but still white.
You also have an American culture of a Society with laws based on Judeo-Christianity, Freedom and blind Justice, equal rights and personal responsibility.
Tell them you also identify as french and so you will now fahrt in their general direction. They will not smell it because your britches are a mask, double mask if you have underbritches.
'Equity group', that shiite's funny. They don't want 'equity', which is an earned thing, they want Gibs.
Record everything. Beyond that were it me I'd roast them, flayed and filleted, thin sliced and diced, skewered like kabobs.
