Because they won't stop with just destroying their own cities. These Antifa and BLM-types are well-funded and can bus/fly large groups to places they want destroyed. When Kenosha was burnt most of the rioters and arsonists were from outside of the state and not part of the local communities. Same with Minneapolis and Washington D. C. Don't think for a second that you're safe just because it's not in your back yard just yet.
Right when they start in red areas that's when the civil war goes hot. I'm not saying anyone is "safe" but right now they're destroying their own territory and I don't think it makes sense to rush in and try to stop them but rather wait until they come to our territory.
The only problem with that is once they've finished destroying an area it creates a power vacuum and would weaken America as a whole. If you let the West Coast fall to lawlessness that can't be contained then the UN and CCP will declare it an emergency and could potentially take over the area and effectively annex it.
It's better to nip it in the bud and put an end to it before it spreads.
