Why didn’t Derek get off his neck after he was dead? Did he not feel him? Maybe it’s hard to notice from his view? Maybe I’m just high level with this stuff but I can see exactly when he went out. Is it procedure? I understand the overdose and chauvin didn’t kill him but why wouldn’t you take your knee off once he’s “dead/unconscious/sleep”?

Criminals will fake, lie, cheat, steal, whatever to fool the police. It's their job to keep control until the paramedics get there.
Also, there have been several photos released showing his knee on Floyd's back, not on his neck.
Also showing Chauvin's weight almost entirely on his other leg/foot. This story keeps getting told as if Chauvin literally had most of his weight concentrated on Floyd's neck/upper spine via his knee, when that simply isn't the case.
Knee was removed from GF at 8:28pm. GF was pronounced dead at 9:25pm. He was in the middle of dying, but he wasn't dead.
But how? If his heart stopped on the scene and they never got it going again how’s he die in the hospital? He was just pronounced dead in the hospital. He was never revived to “die in the hospital”. Loss of life (no heart beat or breathing) occurred on the ground and never started again. I think the “he died at the hospital” makes no sense. NO, he died on the ground. Everyone makes it crystal clear. SINCE BEING LIFTED OFF THE GROUND, HIS HEART NEVER STARTED AGAIN. IMO, the defense needS to prove he took enough drugs to kill him in 12 minutes. I’m not saying Derek killed him, but he was dead from the moment his heart stopped. Unless like the head is severed, it’s rarely a d.o.a. Even a lot of headshots are “dead at the hospital”. I always laugh “suspect shot 37 times 2x in the head, he was taken to x hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2 am”
you can’t cut off air by putting pressure on the back of your neck. Grab the back of your neck and try to choke yourself. There “were” videos of people proving this by having people press their knee on the back of the neck while face down. Doesn’t kill you. What happened here was this gentleman was both overdosing and fighting Covid. This person died like an hour later at the police station, not on the ground. That’s my understanding anyways.
Gentleman? Lol.
Point taken. This violent repeat offender, drug induced Covid riddled, dope slinging, pregnant belly assaulting, failed porn star of a hood rat.
He was never dead while Chauvin was kneeling on his neck. He was given a blood test which resulted in the substance report which has been widely circulated. This shows he was alive at the hospital.
Everyone was just waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Seems like an odd time to kill someone.
Other angles show Chauvin really didn't have his weight on Floyd's neck; weight was on his other leg/foot, but he was positioned to shift his weight almost instantly if the need arose (i.e. if Floyd tried to escape or tried to grab the officer's gun).
But to answer your question more directly, habitual criminals tend to be very familiar with tricks to use to try to escape law enforcement. "I can't breathe" and pretending to be unconscious are high on the list of tricks, as it may enable them to move quickly and catch the officer off-guard. If an officer falls for one of these tricks, the result can be deadly for the officer (and sometimes for other officers or passers-by in the immediate vicinity).
He was just repeatedly collapsing to the ground and refusing to walk to the police car. He was completely uncooperative getting into the back of the car and fighting with the officers who were being really patient and respectful with him while trying to get him to comply with their orders. They probably left him in that position because they were sick of dealing with his bullshit, crying and being over dramatic.
Floyd died at the hospital
Why’s that matter? I’ve seen people shot 2x in the head “died at the hospital”. If your heart stops at point A and is never revived, how didn’t you die there?
Testimony has come out stating that the crowd was perceived to be hostile and unruly by the first responders. So police crisis decision making model would dictate that you have to pay attention to the crowd.
