Why didn’t Derek get off his neck after he was dead? Did he not feel him? Maybe it’s hard to notice from his view? Maybe I’m just high level with this stuff but I can see exactly when he went out. Is it procedure? I understand the overdose and chauvin didn’t kill him but why wouldn’t you take your knee off once he’s “dead/unconscious/sleep”?

But how? If his heart stopped on the scene and they never got it going again how’s he die in the hospital? He was just pronounced dead in the hospital. He was never revived to “die in the hospital”. Loss of life (no heart beat or breathing) occurred on the ground and never started again. I think the “he died at the hospital” makes no sense. NO, he died on the ground. Everyone makes it crystal clear. SINCE BEING LIFTED OFF THE GROUND, HIS HEART NEVER STARTED AGAIN. IMO, the defense needS to prove he took enough drugs to kill him in 12 minutes. I’m not saying Derek killed him, but he was dead from the moment his heart stopped. Unless like the head is severed, it’s rarely a d.o.a. Even a lot of headshots are “dead at the hospital”. I always laugh “suspect shot 37 times 2x in the head, he was taken to x hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2 am”
