Holy shitballs. Life has been getting back to normal in small-town Northeast Texas. It's getting to the point where I even forget that COVID is a thing, until I accidentally stumble onto some sort of comments section online where people from other states are in full-on panic mode, calling everyone who refuses compliance a murderer. Part of me is extremely grateful to live in an area where people hold some sort of common values. I want to just pretend that the other places don't exist anymore, but then I remember that we have to make sure they don't migrate here and turn Texas into shithole California. The COVID hysteria is worse right now than it was in 2020, I think... because some people have accepted it as a permanent thing, and I'll be damned if I'm going to.

Those people only care becsuse it gets them fake internet points and likes. Their lives have no meaning other than the admiration of strangers they'll never meet.
They have no goals other than achieving immediate satisfaction of acceptance by the mob because they are weak willed.
