One of the best ones is on the light bulb. There are still 100 plus year old lightbulbs burning. One in a firehouse in NY I think. Basically the lightbulb manufacturers got together and said “hey we aren’t making enough $$$ make that shit break after so many uses. Straight up real world conspiracy.

Indeed. And some were made to last until not too long ago. I'm still using my grandparents' dryer, it's at least 40 years old. I never heard about them changing the lights in the lamps out front, and I've lived here for 12 years and never had to change them either. 3 light bulbs went out in the past 2 years, and all 3 of the replacements have gone out since then.
