Not really. It just seems like it because we are spammed with racial violence stories whenever it happens, but at the end of the day, it isn't widespread. I haven't seen any such stories from where I live and I've never had any problems when I've interacted with black people.

If you were right, we would be seeing new examples every day, but it is still Cannon Hinant, Jessica Doty, a few others over and over again. This is a country of 330 million people. Considering how many people there are and how few cases of overt racial violence there are, we are in pretty good shape. I live in a city and interact with black people on an almost daily basis, and the vast majority of those interactions are pleasant.

I think you spend too much time online, so your perception of reality is distorted. What you should do is get offline for a bit and go out into the real world and interact with real people.
