Byrne's account of events is also confirmed by Garret Ziegler, who was a mid-level Trump staffer. Look up the interview he did with Monkey Werx.

I love Trump, but he really did let his corrupt legal advisers walk all over him and push him in the wrong direction. He had the power to turn this around but didn't take action.
