Most of the people I grew up with became teachers and state employees. I started a business. They know very little about the world outside their bubble and in most cases don’t believe that it exists. I had to learn the hard way that, no matter how physically attractive they may be, a fundamental mismatch in ideals means I won’t get what I want out of the relationship. Kids. Family. Stability. Happiness.
I would never be attracted to someone with an overbearing, stubborn, or pushy personality in the first place. Therefore, their politics would never be an obstacle to a relationship. I would just have to administer the extra long time-release red pills to help them see the light

A better strategy is to abandon the time wasting fantasy of evangelistic dating, and to focus your efforts on dating only that which you know will work out: those that are intelligent and conservative, but I repeat myself.
