Those children had a home country, probably traveled through a few to get to America. They haven't spent much time in America, they don't speak the language. A 4 year old child separated at the border doesn't call America home, they don't know what the hell "America" even is. They knew a home, and if crossing into America suddenly makes America their home, does a homeless person breaking into my house now have a "home" there?
Bottom line, they just won't admit where they're coming from is a SHITHOLE and they're too pathetic to do anything about it. I worry everyday that if shit really hits the fan, most of us will be too afraid of dying to stand up against BIG BROTHER when he comes knocking. So maybe I don't have a right to judge, but when 10,000 men come marching into America saying they're helpless and weak and can't do anything for themselves, I think "why the fuck should we let you in then" and "how did you survive this long in your home country then"?
Further, there's a very strong chance that the children didn't leave their old home, they were kidnapped and smuggled as "Get Into America Free" cards.

At that point, how do we even begin to get them home? I doubt most of the kids know their home address, city or names of family members
