So many States Laws broken in the 2020 election.

This is like passing more gun control laws without enforcement of current laws and expecting better results.

This is like passing more gun control laws without enforcement of current laws and expecting better results.

Nah man, it's cool. If we make <thing> illegal, then bad people won't do <thing> any more!

28
bubadmt 28 points ago +28 / -0

Murder-free zones are the way forward!

2
MeanMisterMustardCap 2 points ago +2 / -0

KEK.

2
Sphinx3peat 2 points ago +2 / -0

Why not just make Crime-Free Zones?

2
bubadmt 2 points ago +2 / -0

What a genius, I want you in my cabinet fat.

He's saying that voter fraud is already illegal. How is passing more laws going to stop criminals? Murder is already illegal. More laws won't stop that either unless we go old school eye for an eye.

16
IcedCovfefe 16 points ago +16 / -0

It should be against the law to do <illegal thing>!! They should ban it!!

1
Themodsrfags 1 point ago +1 / -0

Kill babies?

6
Marshall2 6 points ago +6 / -0

Laws do not restrict criminals, just people they prey upon.

28
Joeret 28 points ago +28 / -0

This is the best point to make. Making more laws and passing more bills means nothing if none of them are enforced.

5
honk_honk_honk 5 points ago +5 / -0

Even if they enforce them, without serious voter ID it won't do shit. You can have the best laws in place but if the same guy can vote fifty times wearing different mustaches and fake beards from the fifty postboxes his alter egos live in, what's even the point?

That and amnesty was what turned Cali blue, it can easily do the same for the rest of the country, especially if they ditch the electoral college.

This is good news (assuming the bills do what they claim), but if we get complacent again it won't matter. We still need much more considering the election is still stolen.

19
doug2 19 points ago +19 / -0

Unless the laws explicitly give much better enforceability and create tougher systems to circumvent. Really depends on the language.

15
Butt_expert 15 points ago +15 / -0

I half agree, but a lot of states had their laws broken by their own governments and have since clarified that the whole process was illegal. So while these won't fix a ton of the issues, they may actually provide some clarity and a backstop against state officials running rampant and redoing their whole election process on a whim. So, helpful in some respects, but by no means an actual solution to all of the problems.

8
hzuiel 8 points ago +8 / -0

You read my mind. Though there is some basis for this because some states weakened their voting laws in the first place, so thry needed a reform to at least put it back how it was, but if we cant enforce the existing law and nobody will hold anyone accountable, what hope is there for new laws?

1
BeardedNinjaPede 1 point ago +1 / -0

There's no hope for laws anymore, only bullets.

82
IWI9000 82 points ago +83 / -1

Really, they broke thier own laws last time and nobody did a dam thing.

41
Fridge_pirate 41 points ago +41 / -0

To be fair, a bunch of people did something about it and peacefully assembled to let their opinions on it be heard.

...then the whole thing got smeared as an insurrection, had the feds investigate and interview them, persecuted, put in cages...

Dont forget to display your vaxx card and wear seventeen masks, folks.

6
MeanMisterMustardCap 6 points ago +6 / -0

Seventeen masks was sooooo last week, fren. If you ain't wearing at LEAST twenty-one masks, well then you just want Grandma to die. Ya filthy bigot.

Fridge_pirate 1 point ago +1 / -0

Did you want me to bring up the left's double standards on peaceful assembly, rioting, looting and burning buildings or just leave you sit there with your thumb up your butt so everyone can laugh at you?

Genuinely asking. I care.

61
VaPnut 61 points ago +62 / -1

It's not that there aren't enough laws already, the problem is the laws are ignored and those election officials breaking them are not prosecuted because the the government is corrupted beyond repair across all three branches and throughout every government agency. Nobody in government can ever fix the problem, only we, the People can.

11
RandoMando2A 11 points ago +11 / -0

“Election integrity” Pfft! Buzz words be buzzing. In my experience laws are named the opposite of their purpose nowadays.

4
AlphaNathan 4 points ago +4 / -0

black lives matter, religion of peace, peoples' republic, etc

44
Endprism 44 points ago +46 / -2

Which suggests our last election was stolen. Why fix a clock that’s not broken? Their veil of lies is too transparent.

8
Fridge_pirate 8 points ago +9 / -1

Because, now and moving forward, just about everybody did something, see? They're trying.

Dont forget to vote for them.

5
AlphaNathan 5 points ago +5 / -0

virtue signaling faggots weren't there when we needed them

22
NineteenEightyFour 22 points ago +23 / -1

And Election integrity laws will be IGNORED in 47 States when the Uniparty requires it.

19
123paulhouston 19 points ago +20 / -1

Michigan said fuck it not happening

26
Bullet3250 26 points ago +27 / -1

Wayne County should have its entire Vote tossed. 100% Fraud.

18
reacher 18 points ago +19 / -1

Idea: Proud Boys and other like-minded groups obtain full training and certification to become observers, coordinate, then show up next election at every inner city precinct (e.g. Detroit. Philly, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles) with body cams to watch every second of ballot processing and vote counting.

16
buckeyeminuteman 16 points ago +16 / -0

There were certified observers in the last election. In Philadelphia they were intimidated and kept from entering. They were put behind glass with pizza boxes taped to the windows. They were corralled 60 feet away.

6
prattle 6 points ago +7 / -1

In the new normal, observers are going to have to learn to be a lot more aggressive. It is clear that the courts won't do anything after the fact so observers are going to have to be willing to be physical. Think sit in protests and human chains. Take actions that shut down the whole thing if leftists try to start in with their cheating shenanigans again. Keep vigils at night when everyone is supposed to go home. If a water main breaks, be the last one out.

5
fat50 5 points ago +5 / -0

I think that's the point. Proud boys won't be intimidated.

2
reacher 2 points ago +2 / -0

With you and upvoted, but would prefer we insert a couple of steps before the shooting starts. Please see my post above for really organizing very well prepared observers who are willing to go into rough inner city precincts to expose voting fraud on election days. We've allowed this to go on long enough. We would want to have full contingency plans in place in case things get spicy.

NadlerShartWaddle 19 points ago +20 / -1

The ones we left at home for a peaceful rally?

3
BuyPepe 3 points ago +7 / -4

Imagine being told by the President your election was attacked by domestic enemies who rigged it against the people and thinking a peaceful protest will fix it.

9
NadlerShartWaddle 9 points ago +10 / -1

The same president that encouraged an explicitly peaceful protest?

2
BuyPepe 2 points ago +5 / -3

Yes. The same president who allowed the peaceful transition of power to a administration he claimed stole the election.

4
NadlerShartWaddle 4 points ago +6 / -2

allowed

Curious what power you think he had to stop it.

1
BuyPepe 1 point ago +2 / -1

Idk maybe something like the most powerful office in the world, which controls the worlds most powerful military and intelligence apparatus. Not to mention the worlds most armed population, which contains VERY loyal supporters and patriots.

Despite all that power, we never saw any “fire and fury” after Trump himself proclaimed the election was obviously stolen by enemies foreign and domestic.

Sad to think that the President of the United States was “powerless” to defend the American people after such an egregious attack occurred on our soil.

1
Thep1mp 1 point ago +1 / -0

So..... what did you do differently?

0
MakeArdernGoAway 0 points ago +2 / -2

You only call it that now after you failed to act.

8
deleted 8 points ago +9 / -1
4
booblitchutz 4 points ago +4 / -0

Why not? Because from day 1 the GOP has been betraying Trump. He short circuited their system and they hated him for that.

6
remindmelater 6 points ago +6 / -0

The law that should be passed is public hanging for election fraud....

6
deleted 6 points ago +7 / -1
6
ProudWhiteMan 6 points ago +7 / -1

Nothing to see here, completely organic.

Now in a serious note if they don't contain clauses that these integrity bills can't be suspended in an "emergency" state it's all just political theater

4
Marina 4 points ago +5 / -1

Michigan is so Screwed, So the Republicans are going to TRY and pass laws with petition but the last one the people signed overwhelmingly to repeal the 1945 law Guess What still sitting on SOS Desk. The ONLY LEVERAGE THE REPUBLICANS HAD OVER WITCHMER WAS NOT CONFIRMING HER NEW RADICAL HHS SECRETARY BUT THEY CAVED. 4 Republicans voted for her after she promised to keep us locked down for another year. Horn, Stamas, Schmidt, and the cherry on top is Mike Shirkey, the GOP Leader of the Senate Cast the deciding VOTE. THE REPUBLICANS DESERVE TO LOSE EVERY SEAT IN 22.

4
turdinthepunch 4 points ago +5 / -1

Why? I thought the election was the cleanest and most transparent election in history. Weird.

4
Siteless_Vagrant 4 points ago +4 / -0

And the SCOTUS said we have no standing.

3
Smol_Gobbo 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is good, at the very least it’s gotten people’s attention. Now it’s up to us to make sure they actually follow those rules.

3
booblitchutz 3 points ago +3 / -0

If the courts refuse to hear cases of widespread election fraud, what good are new laws?

3
Sheprecon31 3 points ago +3 / -0

Means ABSOLUTELY nothing to these gangsters

2
Coslin 2 points ago +2 / -0

I didn't click the link. But I'ma guess Massachusetts isn't one of the 47.

2
Incredulous_Hulk 2 points ago +2 / -0

Everyone in politics knows how much systemic fraud there was. They think in the depths of their arrogance that bullshyte token bills will placate the 80+ million disenfranchised.

Prove them wrong. May they all burn forever.

2
MAGA_VANGUARD 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great, fix whats broken AFTER the cheaters win? Its like putting up a wall to secure the thief inside the bank, after they already robbed it, so he can enjoy spending it on his own.

2
PB_Mack 2 points ago +2 / -0

I wonder if it actually turned out to be a foreign entity who threw the election through remotely accessing the machines, would the current admin relinquish power to rectify it? /s.

Of course they wouldn’t.

1
fat50 1 point ago +2 / -1

It was. Mike Lindell already proved this.

2
Forgotmypass666 2 points ago +2 / -0

Are these election integrity bills or "election integrity" bills?

2
AllTheWayTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

And HR1 will render them moot for national elections at least and our faggoty judicial system will probably rule the rest unconstitutional despite them hating The Constitution.

2
HiddenDekuScrub 2 points ago +2 / -0

This must be having the right effect and made all the right people angry, because the demoralizers are out in force today.

2
Greenhills 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is probably a good indicator that the convention of states will succeed.

2
GlobalUnity 2 points ago +3 / -1

I’m just worried they are toothless and people will just assume they are strict and the politicians will say “see I did something” when in reality nothing really was done

2
BuyPepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

Spoiler alert. You’re correct.

1
GlobalUnity 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ugh. I was hoping not. It would be better to have done nothing and the next elections be even more egregious rather than people just be lulled back into their stupor of watching fake sports teams and propaganda TV screen.

1
QuidQuoProJoe 1 point ago +1 / -0

We had laws already, what good is a law if it's just ignored anyway. We are fools to buy that this will change anything next time.

1
ChickenInspector 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sounds like even the laypeople boomer local politics crowd are talking about corporate-unapproved things.

1
buckeyeminuteman 1 point ago +2 / -1

The same people who looked the other way in November are now interested in passing stronger laws. To hell with them all.

1
SomeoneInHouston 1 point ago +1 / -0

Doesn't this prove there must have been fraud? How can you have so many states strengthening their election laws if none were manipulated?

1
HumblePede 1 point ago +1 / -0

GASP! Hang on a moment while I go clutch my pearls.

But if all those states do that, wherever will the MLB play their precious anti-American all-star game?! Hmmm, maybe they could head on out to China.

Good riddance!

1
NPC11011110000 1 point ago +1 / -0

New Election integrity laws are like new laws to make murder illegal.

The problem is the people who don't follow the law. This won't prevent that. Ruby Freeman knew it was illegal to count fake ballots without observation. But they did it anyways because they knew that there would be no consequence.

If I could walk into a store and grab a brand new Macbook without paying for it and knew there would be no consequence, no knew laws against stealing would prevent me from doing so.

1
Meddlesom 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's too late for this. The democrats will spend the next four years adding tens of millions of government-dependent illegal aliens and refugees to the voter pool by giving them citizenship. They wont have to cheat next time, or ever again.

1
UncleJoesPuddinBrain 1 point ago +4 / -3

People getting excited about this are the kind of people who think we just don't have enough gun law on the books. Hey, idiots. Voter fraud is already illegal. All of these measures being passed are mind control to make you think it won't happen again.

1
Glorydog 1 point ago +1 / -0

Too little too late. Most of them already broke their own damn laws in the 2020 election, and they just let it slide. How are new laws going to help if no one's held accountable for breaking the laws already on the books?

1
Donaldsweiner 1 point ago +1 / -0

So are they getting rid of dominion or just keeping the pink elephant in the room

1
Llanos 1 point ago +1 / -0

Didn't a lot of the cheater states just pass illegal laws in the middle of the night before the election? How do new laws stop that from happening again?

1
MetallicOpeth 1 point ago +1 / -0

Still so late, still so reactionary. This should've been trumps 4 year fight

1
MoonLevelStop 1 point ago +1 / -0

HR 1 is marketed as an election integrity bill.

1
Spawnlingman 1 point ago +1 / -0

Why are election laws being introduced in 47 states if there was no evidence of widespread fraud? And why does it matter when laws dont matter and courts are a clown room and the FBI is corrupt?

1
Warcraft1966 1 point ago +2 / -1

Meaningless garbage. They will never address the issue. Republicans throwing crumbs at us to make themselves look good.

1
thallos 1 point ago +1 / -0

If my state is on that list I guarantee that it's actually the opposite of integrity but just with a pretty name.

1
Winterfires 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wrong, most states had governors, sos and legislators just change existing laws right before the 2020 election. This is making it harder to cheat, in the future. It's why Biden, Hollywood and libtard companies are pissed off. This is the way to get rid of the systematic election fraud.

1
Neonlightdistrict 1 point ago +1 / -0

Just in time

1
orange_dit 1 point ago +1 / -0

Will these laws affect the 2020 election?

1
Wood_Shampoo1 1 point ago +1 / -0

They all need passed before 22

1
mesqplvesqsa 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is encouraging. I can't wait for these laws to apply to all parties equally, and be enforced just like all previous election integrity laws have been the past elections.

Indeed, trusting in strategies that relies on a corrupt legal system to be fair, instead of all of us doing the right thing, is going to work really well for the righteous, and it will surely punish the leftists when they inevitably cheat again.

1
Scumbag-reddit 1 point ago +1 / -0

If China has infiltrated all of the election integrity groups, how is this even a good thing? They are going to once again control what kind of bills do and do not pass and nothing will change.

1
Bhoelscher 1 point ago +1 / -0

Dems done screwed up this time. They all went all in and had to get sloppy. Even Dems know there was fraud this time. They are going to lose their scheme.
