He recommended a shot in my spine or fusing a disk. I declined and said I'd think about it. Had to buy new shoes and work boots that day. Noticed within 3 days that the new shoes took my 600mg 3x daily of ibuprofen down to 400mg 2x daily, rarely 3x. Mentioned this to my doctor and asked for referral to the foot doctor. Turns out my feet are fucked up which keeps my back misaligned causing the sciatica. He gave me prescription insoles. For $50 I found a treatment that didn't require drugs or surgery that gives me mobility back so I'm able to exercise, fixing my sciatica. Why should I trust a doctor after all that? permalink save report block reply ▲ 1 ▼ – BurtMcGirt [S] 1 point 13 days ago +1 / -0 I needed surgery on my foot a few years ago, until I chose not to.
