Why not just open an office or mfg plant in Brownsville to help revitalize? Or has he already done that? Throwing $$ at a problem is rarely successful.
He's going to be bringing a lot of jobs to the area in the next couple years. Think he just wants to help the city become a more desirable place to live so he can convince people to come work there.
If anyone could actually fix Brownsville, it's Musk. I dunno if he can, but he's not a moron either. I'm interested to see if this works. If it does it shows that capitalism ultimately is the solution, not government taxes.
