So even from the History channel (lol if you call it history now) they identify 8 reasons why Rome fell.

While I will concede that a few don't apply, a majority of them do. Lets look at the 8 reasons they say:

  1. Invasions by Barbarian Tribes
  2. Economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor
  3. The rise of the Eastern Empire
  4. Overexpansion and military overspending
  5. Government corruption and political instability
  6. The arrival of the huns and the migration of the Barbarian Tribes
  7. Christianity and loss of traditional values
  8. Weakening of the Roman Legions

Now this was updated in 2019, which is prime time going woke, so it's easy to see that there are some more progressive ideas littered in there.

Lets look at them one by one:

  1. Invasions by Barbarian Tribes - This right here is our illegal aliens. They are mostly military aged men, don't have plans to assimilate to our culture and want to spread the influence of theirs.

  2. Economic troubles and overreliance on slave labor - While we don't have slaves persay (some would argue the wage slaves and whatever) but we do have an overreliance on foreign workers as they can be acquired cheaper, but again this leads to several other issues with importing labor this way, such as not assimilating and demanding the locals adapt to them.

  3. The rise of the Eastern Empire - We don't have to worry about this...yet.

  4. Overexpansion and military overspending - While we aren't not overexpanded in terms of US territory and holdings, we are overexpanded playing the world police force. Our military spending is high, but it's what keeps any super power in the world in the game, same for Rome for their time.

  5. Government corruption and political instability - While our stability of our government isn't that far off, the recent fraudulent election and corruptness of our government makes it more obvious now than ever. Political offices that are important to the functioning to the government are now being offered out to friends and families with no previous qualifications to hold positions.

  6. The arrival of the Huns and the migration of the Barbarian Tribes - Again not really a thing for us. If you equate the drug cartels and corrupt governments from failed US policy to the "Huns" forcing and moving the tribes (illegal aliens) to storm our border and cross illegally.

  7. Christianity and loss of traditional values - Well I would say it's the lack of Christianity that is leading to the loss of traditional values. The democrats are on a warpath to destroy the nuclear family, encouraging single motherhood. Introducing crime bills that lock away fathers for minor crimes (don't get me wrong, lock up the violent fucks). But we are losing and handing our traditional values over in the name of "safety".

  8. Weakening of the Roman Legions - This is currently underway. With the addition of trans people into the military, the attempts to lower physical standards to allow weaker and weaker people into the military. Also with the extremist training, again lowering our defensive posture focusing on the wrong things.

We are under siege, but most patriots know this. I just thought it was interesting listening to some podcasts and videos for the Roman era.

Check out Stephen Molyneux's video on Rome. Has some good points that are missing from your list
