Equity seeks to ensure outcomes for everyone are equal. Problem starts with how do you determine what is equal outcomes, who has that authority? Enter the central state authorities... who are now mandated to determine and ensure what they consider equal outcomes for everyone.
Equality ensures civil rights and freedom, but does not guarantee success only access to the possibility.
Equity ensures everyone has equal outcomes, but at the cost of civil liberties and freedom.
Also since equity requires an almost cult like acceptance by the population to be maintained... it has the nasty side effect of causing, mass arrests, hard labor camps, and genocide. Of anyone who is in disagreement with the central authority.
