That depends, some situations might be so extreme that they require engaging a corrupt police officer. Those situations are extremely rare, thankfully. But it does remain an option in extreme situations.
In the vast vast majority of situations getting the officers name or badge number, a video, calling a lawyer or your representative, maybe getting in touch with the sheriff or chief of police if they are good, is a much better way to go about it than adding fuel to the fire and escalating a tense situation.
If the cops are actually doing something wrong, yeah 100%.
But someone should explain to them that arresting people suspected of serious crimes is not wrong.
Or explain to them that being black isn't a "get out of jail free card" like they think it is.

If a cop is being violent towards someone when the situation clearly doesnt call for it then thats just a criminal in a cop costume for all I care.
