Well, if you subtract 13% of the population and the crimes they commit from the crime stats, including crimes committed with guns, then the US has a gun violence and crime rate comparable to European nations, but it's crimes committed by whites which make the news and weeks long discussions about the threat of whiteness.

So, yeah, I am concerned about the race of the perps because the discussions of what race are the perpetrators woefully understate black crimes.
