You want REAL action - check out some kick-ass South Korean stuff - just watched two newly-released ones called Deliver Us From Evil and The Beasts That Cling To Straw. Absolutely WILDLY original without having to LAZILY resort to 110% CGI in hopes the brain-dead viewer won't notice a complete lack of a PLOT.
