Thank god a friend years ago in the 90s turned me onto foreign film - and with EXTREMELY rare exceptions, have never looked back. You want REAL action - check out some kick-ass South Korean stuff - just watched two newly-released ones called Deliver Us From Evil and The Beasts That Cling To Straw. Absolutely WILDLY original without having to LAZILY resort to 110% CGI in hopes the brain-dead viewer won't notice a complete lack of a PLOT.
