Radiation is radiation. It will spread regardless of the initial area of effect. MOABs could do it. That or try to figure out neutron bombs. Those have the boom without any of the radiation from what I’ve heard.
Pet peeve: I don't like it when the story date isn't right at the top where you can see it easily. (from the comments below the article, this one was Jan 2021, so timely enough)
Right? And despite Wikipedia being lefty they keep this map up-to-date and even properly color it. Tennessee is signing theirs into law any day now so expect more green. Almost every blue state should eventually become green. And hopefully the longstanding yellow states will have their hands forced by the courts, but that could take years.
I wouldn't go that far but he/we need to have the votes in congress for it. I have no idea if they've even explored doing it though. It would basically destroy a large chunk of business for those who own and operate gun shops and ranges. That's why there hasn't been movement on it.
Compared to the business they'll get when you no longer need the CC permit and can just carry any firearm you own? That's a pretty stupid reason if that's even the reason at all. They would get more range business, not less, when everyone is now able to carry without needing to jump through even more hoops than just to get the weapon in the first place.
Getting the weapon has nothing to do with CCW; separate animals.
Purchasing/obtaining is easy enough, it's the "right to concealed carry" that is what you're talking about. Owning/possessing isn't predicated on that.
Edit: that is to say you can transport it in most cases without needing CCW, like to or from home and place of business or going to the range etc. You just can't have it on your person in every case or place without CCW. That's the only thing lacking here (short of full open carry at that).
Except that's also what I'm taking about. The more people that can do something without needing a permit or other nonsense means more people that will do that leading to not only more sales of all types, but wanting to practice with that thing. The way it is now less people want to buy it because they can't ever carry it in most situations so it's pointless to buy more than one for just home defense. I.E. lost sales.
Taking away the need for a CC permit means that business would go up because that's one less hoop to jump through to carry any weapon. That means more sales, not less, so the excuse is stupid.
Cool. I have the lifetime permit so doesn't really affect me personally. Glad I got the lifetime because other nearby states are reciprocal. It's good to know he's coming thru with conservative views. I hope he makes some moves on tightening election and voting laws though. Although TN is solidly red right now that might not always be the case. I think dominion or some other BS machines are in use in a couple TN Counties.
Shhhhhhh dont tell the people in Congress you might offend some people who think they are in charge. Because the US has 2A there will be people that have guns in every state regardless of legislation.
My based gf’s family is from VT. They explained it well - VT used to be red, like deep red, until the 70s when the Masshole hippies decided to retire up north. VT has historically had a very strong gun culture, and despite the liberalism disease, the gun culture was one of the few things preserved. If LibLeft had a state, it would be VT. Social welfare, but big on personal freedom.
NH is a no brainer btw - CATO institute’s freedominthe50states project routinely rated them as #1 freest state in the country.
Good. Fuck waiting 6 months for CCW licenses and paying the state to have a right. I hope they overrule DeWine because I'm sure he will try to block it.
We had too many cuck rinos in our legislature. It died. We finally got enough non-shit republicans to pass good stuff. So hopefully the sun is rising in Ohio
Missouri's Governor vetoed our bill. We overruled him. Then we voted him out. Then the dems cooked up a story and got our new Republican governor to step down. Then we elected another Republican Governor. Now we have an OK Governor and Josh Hawley in the Senate. Your mileage may vary.
I absolutely can't stand Dewine and hope we primary him next election, however passing Constitutional Carry would help his chances with centric Republicans.
I hope he does pass it, and we still primary his totalitarian ass.
Our state of Iowa has had a VERY based government now for a little while, but no one talks about us. I live in the suburbs of our largest city, and yet I've lived largely maskless this whole time, have been out to eat, been to festivals and arcades, and seen kids in my school district going to school in person the whole school year. Wages are exploding here, and places are hiring like crazy. Now we have constitutional carry, and also things like the banning of critical race theory. Our governor also keeps issuing public health emergency "declarations" because they block local idiots from making their own, thus not letting pockets of liberal assholes put mandates on us. We've never stopped sports here even. We have a rodeo downtown, and live music. Now... owners of a few venues are cucks and require masks, but I just don't go there.
I used to live in Texas, but wtf is going on down there?? Iowa is God's country. I like that we also fly under the radar, so shitlibs don't come here. It's safe, clean, and free, and "relatively" low on corruption. I can easily buy guns and ammo (when in stock, dammit), and carry openly or concealed while having a drink just about anywhere, and I've seen crap like small fireworks sold at Walgreens.
Moving there this summer as well from shithole WA state. Hubby was born and raised in IA, and moving there for family reasons, but the fact it’s a based state is a super-sized bonus.
Yeah, lots of Iowans are moving from other parts of the state to Des Moines mostly. Houses disappear quickly here on the market, so it's tough to buy a house... but great to sell one!
Yeah when I see a local article trying to brag and advertise the place, I think of Austin, and shudder... If Texas were to hypothetically ever secede and make Allen West its president though, I'd likely come running!
Not true. Localities can refuse to enforce state laws. Sussex county here in NJ is an example of that - they call themselves a gun sanctuary county and routinely fight Trenton about our gun laws
The difference from Florida's laws is that you can actually step over your property line onto, say, a street, and not have to worry about the karen next door trying something because you can openly carry everywhere instead of only openly on your property while needing a concealed carry anywhere else.
Interesting that pisses me off that constitutional Carry isn't everywhere. Why the fuck do we need a law saying the constitution is valid? What's up with that?
The eroding of our rights and freedoms by people that only want control is an entirely other conversation but it's the reason why rights, like gun ownership, is as limited as it is and why certain groups are always trying to further place limits and outright remove it. You can't control an armed populace, but you can slowly take away their ability to be armed to eventually take control of them.
Nebraska has a bill introduced this legislative session. They need to fill in the middle of that map when ask if those states surrounding them are red.
Ugh... and Indiana is still waiting. Some of the Republicans in our state Senate are almost useless (I know, not surprising). Enjoy the freedom, Hawkeyes (and Cyclones or whatever :D).
Excellent news, but when the heck are Texas and Florida going to get their acts together on this?
Because FL and TX have uber liberal cities.
So wall them off
Or better yet: round them up and put them into camps. For their own protection of course 🤭
If they had guns they would at least be able to put up a fight, too bad they can't if we ever decide to do something about them
Don't be fooled they have guns and ammo, they just want to disarm you so you can't fight back.
based
I prefer helicopter rides.
Yes, they need that protection badly, I for one support putting the city into a temporary overflow facility, for their own good.
"Gun Free Zones"
they would probably agree to it if it was for their own safety
And nuke them?
Storms will carry radiation to places not infected by heathens.
Small nukes then. 😅
Radiation is radiation. It will spread regardless of the initial area of effect. MOABs could do it. That or try to figure out neutron bombs. Those have the boom without any of the radiation from what I’ve heard.
Vegas would be right wing were it not for illegals, I wonder if the same goes for cities in TX and FL - maybe even some cities in CA.
San Antonio definitely falls into that category.
Dallas and Houston are ate up with the 13%.
Yes
Fuck Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and the rest.
And Jacksonville and Tallahassee
unholy portals that transport the filthiest lib trash directly into the state from california exist in those cities
Here in Missouri we have St Louis & Kansas City, but fortunately the voice of reason wins most of the time.
Agreed!
Desantis flip flopped on the parkland gun bill so :/
https://www.news4jax.com/news/politics/2021/01/24/states-eye-allowing-concealed-carry-of-guns-without-a-permit/
Good article.
Pet peeve: I don't like it when the story date isn't right at the top where you can see it easily. (from the comments below the article, this one was Jan 2021, so timely enough)
Look at this map and smile fren

"This is the most beautiful sight these eyes have ever seen"
Bookmarked for future reference.
Right? And despite Wikipedia being lefty they keep this map up-to-date and even properly color it. Tennessee is signing theirs into law any day now so expect more green. Would love to see an overlay of crime statistics before and after.
Vermont is surprisingly based and gunpilled.
They never had any gun control laws in their history. Even NH can't say that. But every county voted Democrat.
Wow, I had no idea things were going so well on this front. Thanks for the uplifting news.
This is beautiful!
How the hell was Vermont the first one? They're liberal as shit.
They never had any gun control laws. So it's mostly historical.
I guess that's what happens when you're the 2nd whitest state in the country lol.
It's in the URL itself if you notice
Brilliant. I obviously didn't notice.
They still need to make it easier so the less aware people like myself don't have to work so hard.
😁
Ohio, too
Waiting on FL to catch up on this one still...
I would like to see all states apply this. It’s almost like we have the right to bear arms in the Bill of Rights or some thing....
Like some sort of central founding document outlining this God given right to all Americans equally...
That sounds crazy.
Like some madmen writing up a perfect document to protect the people from government.
Just plain nuts....
Wait, you mean like a Right from God that shall not be infringed?
Exactly...crazy, huh?
45-70. The only government I trust!
Trench Coxe
DeSantis still dragging his feet on what matters.
I think it has to do with CCW being big business here.
Big business and south Florida blue cities. This country is now in the hands of its Governors and AGs. The people want and need leadership.
Then DeSantis is abother sellout.
Well lookee here after all:
https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2021/123
This is a new one, they've had that floating around for a while.
I wouldn't go that far but he/we need to have the votes in congress for it. I have no idea if they've even explored doing it though. It would basically destroy a large chunk of business for those who own and operate gun shops and ranges. That's why there hasn't been movement on it.
What businesses are benefitting from the red flag laws? At some point freedom trumps profit.
None. That's just reactionary bullshit because MUH FEELS.
Compared to the business they'll get when you no longer need the CC permit and can just carry any firearm you own? That's a pretty stupid reason if that's even the reason at all. They would get more range business, not less, when everyone is now able to carry without needing to jump through even more hoops than just to get the weapon in the first place.

Hell yeah, they should.
TN pedes the constitutional concealed carry bill was sent to the governor's desk this past week! Fill up that checkerboard!!
So excited about that one, even though I already have a permit.
Did he sign yet? Is it a done deal?
Gov Lee has yet to sign it. It’s currently awaiting his signature.
Why the hell has it not been signed yet?
Glad to see it, but last I checked constitutional carry was passed over 200 years ago.
Shhhhhhh dont tell the people in Congress you might offend some people who think they are in charge. Because the US has 2A there will be people that have guns in every state regardless of legislation.
Constitutional carry as in you can carry without a permit?
Yes
The constitution is your permit.
Anyone looking to move just look at this map...pick your weather. Really surprised at vermont and new hampshire...
My based gf’s family is from VT. They explained it well - VT used to be red, like deep red, until the 70s when the Masshole hippies decided to retire up north. Wow the checker board is filling up nicely...come on florida and tejas you have to be next
Constitutional carry just introduced in Ohio house today and includes language to protect knife carriers as well.
Good. Fuck waiting 6 months for CCW licenses and paying the state to have a right. I hope they overrule DeWine because I'm sure he will try to block it.
Dewine is a piece of fucking shit that needs to be in a dungeon.
Course he will. I wouldn't even classify him as a RINO; he's a straight up Democrat.
there was a bill like 2 years ago, is it the same one or a new one?
We had too many cuck rinos in our legislature. It died. We finally got enough non-shit republicans to pass good stuff. So hopefully the sun is rising in Ohio
"pokes Ohio"
do a constitutional carry
Mike DeWine blocks your path.
I hope to see the same done here.
I absolutely can't stand Dewine and hope we primary him next election, however passing Constitutional Carry would help his chances with centric Republicans.
I hope he does pass it, and we still primary his totalitarian ass.
its not even on his desk yet. the legislature have it shelved....
reminds me i need to contact my rep.
Texas, get to it already. I know Austin in a massive liberal hub but come on.
Austin is more than liberal - they are extreme left. Proud communist and socialist.
If Austin was just liberal that'd be ok - it's so much more than that.
Austin is like the Seattle of Texas.
And most people in Austin aren't from Texas.
Any state that is a shall-issue state should push to become a constitutional carry state.
Any state that is an open carry state should become a constitutional carry state.
The laws are dumb and an infringement on the 2nd Amendment
Our state of Iowa has had a VERY based government now for a little while, but no one talks about us. Cheers, fellow Iowa pede. 🍻
also cheers from tennessee. sounds like my life in tennessee. God bless you boys and girls!
Moving to iowa this summer. Holy nut are they building all around Des Moines
Enjoy your under the radar status (for now)
Sad Texas noises.
Yeah when I see a local article trying to brag and advertise the place, I think of Austin, and shudder... If Texas were to hypothetically ever secede and make Allen West its president though, I'd likely come running!
It's a pretty great place to be, isn't it? I got out of Waterloo last year, moved back to small town Iowa and truly couldn't ask for more.
we already have the second amendment..
Its not constitutional carry if cities can issue laws against it. Gotta take CO off that map.
Not true. Localities can refuse to enforce state laws. Sussex county here in NJ is an example of that - they call themselves a gun sanctuary county and routinely fight Trenton about our gun laws
It's.. not on?
What exactly is constitutional Carry? How is it different from say Florida laws?

Yea I know what's going on it just blows my mind to the max.
It affirms the right to carry firearms without a permit, concealed or unconcealed.
So Florida is different cause you need a permit?
Texas, Florida, and TN don't have it yet sad guns noises
JUST PASSED BABY https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/politics/2021/04/01/new-no-permit-tennessee-handgun-carry-bill-what-to-know/4836900001/
We on the way to the gov's desk
It is a weird world we live in today that simultaneously illegal gun control and 2nd amendment absolutism is being pursued.
This will be the wedge issue of our future. The wedge of secession
We have effectively severed the nation.
Let’s dance the boogaloo already
What the hell is Indiana's problem?
Gary. Lol
Fuck Gary. He was always a dick.
Good for you, take down as many illegals as you can!!
I found my fren ;-)
Yes my bud!!
constitutional open and concealed carry, Kentucky worded it as a state recognized God given right if I remember correctly
Where in the world is that pup Greg Abbott?
... My guess he is at the Bush/Cheney BBQ and Revival Meeting. /sarc
Nebraska has a bill introduced this legislative session. They need to fill in the middle of that map when ask if those states surrounding them are red.
Louisiana needs to get it done as well!
True, but it won't happen with the shit governor that is in there now.
sadly true
Louisiana has dominion machines.
TX is a disgrace
Texas and Florida noticeably absent.
It's almost like the red states are competing to be more free than each other. We have the best red states, don't we folks?
Dammit Texas get your shit together!!
TN is constitutional carry now too. No idea why it’s not on the list
we have to pass laws to enforce existing laws in the constitution.
It's retarded but i'll take it.
What’s the difference between constitutional carry and open carry in states like NV?
probably being able to carry concealed w/o a permit
And why the fuck Texas don't, I hope my state doesn't let me down
What is going on with Texas? Greg Abbott is shameful.
If you think he's bad, come on over here and getchoo somma the Governor of Nottingham. (D-LA)
What did you expect, shitheads in New Orleans and Baton Rouge picked him
My governor wears black face, pretty hard to beat but somehow there are two other governors that compete.
Congrats from kansas
Ugh... and Indiana is still waiting. Some of the Republicans in our state Senate are almost useless (I know, not surprising). Enjoy the freedom, Hawkeyes (and Cyclones or whatever :D).
DEUS VULT MOLON LABE
Come on my Texas....why the hell aren't we on this list? Why haven't we been on this list?🧐
TFW Nebraska gets lumped in with the likes of Colorado and Minnesota... :|
COME ON TENNESSEE! Get it together!
Cool. Now do TN, NC and VA.
tennessee just did! or something very similar.
Passed in TN too. https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/politics/2021/03/29/tennessee-constitutional-carry-legislature-passes-permitless-handgun-bill/7049477002/
that's right baby! "so anyway, i started blasting." woo hoo tennessee!
Fuck Abbot.
Uh, TN has constitutional carry.
How? According to every source I look at, the state of Tennessee requires a shall-issue permit.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitutional_carry#U.S._jurisdictions_that_have_constitutional_carry
SPEZ: Scratch that, just saw the news. Godspeed, Tennessee!

How the bleep is TEXAS not on this list???
Meanwhile in GA
https://twitter.com/GeorgiaCarry/status/1377602662452056066
Love it!
Come on Ohio wtf get your shit in order damn it
It’s not constitutional if you have to pass a law to allow it.
Technically our bill in Iowa got rid of regulations... There are literal just lines being struck out.
Come on Ohio
