Funny how that works. How does our "government" feel towards Ukraine? Any connections?

Fair enough even though I disagree on the history.

But even ignoring who has the more credible historical claim to the lineage of crimea.....

Russia was the aggressor before and you didn't support that, yet you support Ukrainian aggression in response? That makes no sense comrade.

Not saying anything in regards to whom i support. Peace is ultimately the way to go. With that being said, I support the will of the Ukrainian people to decide what they want as a government, not something forced on them. Not something historical, but what the people want.

Ideally, yes. However, in the real world there are way too many international players involved, way too much MIC and other establishment money involved for there to be a simple clean small d democratic solution here.

All that being said, sometimes territory is ill gotten or obtained under at least somewhat questionable circumstances. In my opinion, this is one of those cases but you have the added wrinkle that Russia was never going to get a fair shake on this and was always going to be seen as the aggressor in any attempts at reclamation peaceful or otherwise.

My original comment was due to vids i have seen posted here of train-loads of Russian tanks being moved to the contested regions. Ukraine may be on their heels, Russia would decimate them if wanted. The aggressor is the one going against the people's will, whatever side it is. Clown world we live in

Russia would decimate them if wanted.

I'm afraid this is what the globalist international community wants to goad into happening. I know for a fact this is what the MIC wants not to mention the media and the Democrats.

The aggressor is the one going against the people's will, whatever side it is.

So again, historically the aggressor was the Soviet Union. They took the territory from Russia where it was at the time and historically had been for a long period of time and through executive order made it part of Ukraine. That wasn't the will of the people so it's not exactly like we're still at square one.

Both countries have a legitimate claim to the territory that's kind of my point. Therefore, being 100% pro-Ukraine on this issue seems like drinking the Kool Aid of the US military industrial complex, globalists, mass media and Democrats.

Russia is currently RESPONDING to Ukrainian aggression. This is how the fake news works. Omit the start where Ukraine loads up tanks and to straight to Russia loading up tanks in response. Then say Russia is being aggressive. Why would Russia need to load up tanks if they already occupy the area?
