It was filed originally December 8, 2020... and Clerk of Courts filed it into the Marion County system on January 6, 2021.
The hearing in Indiana, via Zoom, was scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
That's an extraordinarily long stretch of time between actual filing and recording of the filing. I suspect the original filing lacked some required information, forms, or fees, and was rejected until it was fixed. But yeah, that will poke holes in an theories that he was motivated by January 6 events to hurry up and file a change he'd been planning.
Courts are generally pretty efficient about recording filing dates, since for many types of cases, the filing date is critically important to the case, and it's a lot of extra work to go back and change it.
Looks like the tweet has the date wrong. According to the court document cited below the original filing date was Dec. 18 (not Dec. 8). The record shows the filing fee payment was processed the following Monday, Dec.21st. This was Christmas week, the following week included the New Year's holiday so seems perfectly reasonable and coincidental that the court order was signed on Jan. 6th.
Like the two 'teen' girls, do they belong to that group of men, or has parents come forward? I suspect those are trafficked teens that belong to a gang.
And the case was filed on January 6 . . .
Oh boy, the tinfoil hat crowd is about to have a field day!

There was no court order. The filing date is stamped on the front of the document. Court date was March 30.
Not a real US citizen?
