Need help with information about the changing of the Military policies in the 70's or 80's about the handling of recruit's. I believe a letter was wrote to a senator and need help from the old school library's.

I think it was a senators son possibly. My father-in law talked about this, because he was a Marine Drill instructor and did not care for this change. Thank you if you can help... God Bless all that have served and currently. You truly are the salt of this nation. "SEMPER FIDELIS"

I'm looking for information on a news cast or in the news paper in my younger days about a letter that was sent to a senator about how a recruit was being treated in boot camp or in the Military Academy. Its something that I think could be related to the Biden's. I don't buy the Bo was a good boy crap. I think apple's don't fall from the tree.
