Anyone know how things are down in the Keys? Wife and I have a vacation planned for Key Largo in a couple of weeks, and I'm just wondering how people are acting/reacting to things in that area.
Specifically masks, distancing, random Karen-ness. That sort of thing. We're in a condo and not some hotel or resort - so thank God I'm at least safe from the mask-nazi's there. And I know Florida is "wide open", so just looking for a little intel.
TIA!
I'll be down in Isla Morada early Sunday morning to watch the sunrise. It's mostly ok in the upper and middle keys. I heard Key West is being totalitarian about the masks, especially on Duval. But overall, it should be ok. Locals don't care too much, and everything seems to be open, mostly.
Thats good to hear. Well mostly be around the uppers for 5 days.
Thanks for the heads up about key west. When you say "on duval" do you mean in the shops or out on the street?
Really just trying to avoid being hassled on my vacation. Don't want to be places where people are gonna act like ass hats ya know.
Thanks!
