They aren't trying to court them. All of this woke stuff is coming from them. It's a coalition between corrupt politicians and corporations. They are doing it for a couple of reasons.
First of all, they are sowing division to make the "peasants" fight each other instead of them. They don't want another Occupy Wallstreet situation where the people turn their focus on the "elite".
Secondly, they want to increase government power and turn the government tyrannical to better control people and hold on to their power. They want to institute social credit so they can become even more powerful and wealthy, and nip any chances of rebellion in the bud.
And third, they are all receiving massive amounts of Chinese and globalist money to do this stuff. China is pushing it for obvious reasons, because they want to be the global super power and they need to destroy America and the west to do so.
None of them are actually "communists". Not in the same way these lefty morons are communists. They are just using communism the way it is always used, to usher in tyranny and consolidate government power. Because they control the government, so increasing and consolidating its power is increasing their power.
I just want to add how China has basically already won. Just last week I decided to turn back NPR on, after basically a year boycott. (Not a regular listener now either, just one day popped in to see if they are still spouting lies). The story was about how The Philippines were angry that their fishing sea was swarmed by Chinese fishing boats that were supposed to be off limits. And the US, Canada, UK, Australia (I think that was the complete list) were siding with The Philippines and warning China to back down. My only thought was that is the most cucked list of supporters for the poor Philippines, there is ZERO chance China leaves that sea. Biden and our allies are weaker than a wet noodle.

Because they are moronic, and their business was dying before this. It's an attempt to "sell to a new audience" because they have been steadily declining for years.
