No matter what he'll have to live under an assumed name and probably some sort of witness protection program until he dies.

His life is over no matter what.

In years before 2015, I don't think we would see the thin blue line folding on him like this time. I don't think there are many on the jury who will defend him, but there is a chance for a few.

I am really looking forward to the medical examiner's direct and cross examination. I think the outcome will be determined at this point in the trial. With two different reports, the lawyers will really earn their money here. Sort of like the exchange on the dilated eyes meaning that happened already.

While I hope he is 100% not guilty, I doubt he will get that verdict. I think best case guess is guilty and pay a fine only for manslaughter with no jail time. Most likely case is 8-10 years, serving 4 or 5.

He seems to be representing himself well in the trial, taking notes, not looking angry or unhinged. His demeanor may help.

If you phrase the question, what else could have killed him, it's easy to find possible reasons. If you are looking to find blame, and think this is about police brutality of black men, then you might be looking to send a message. I think the judge needs to really dial in the fact that this is only a trial of the evidence presented here and try not to let the jurors try to decide based on outside issues or other cases.

I think there is more than enough reasonable doubt for him to walk.

He will walk away. The DA was forced by the riots to Jack up the charges to where they would have to prove the killing was premeditated. No way they can prove that so no way they convict him. Chauvin will walk and that city and many others will burn because of it.

I think the pressure on the jury is immense and there will be a guilty verdict of second-degree manslaughter. This will result in riots due to him not being found guilty of murder. If he is found not guilty (which he should be) then all hell will break loose. All I know is some of fentanyl floyd's family (sister) live not too far from me. There was shit going on here during the initial can't breeve "mostly peaceful" protests. I will be prepared.
