Having lived in Spokane for 30 years, I might suggest embiggening the bubble a little to cover more of the Olympic peninsula and the I-5 corridor up to Bellingham, but yeah. There are many more "based" square miles than "commie" square miles in WA. Eastern 2/3 of the state is pretty red with the exception of Pullman (WSU) and the urban areas of Spokane. And there are a lot of based folks behind enemy lines in the greater Puget Sound area.
Can't speak as much to OR and CA, but I assume similar dynamics are in play in those states as well.
