As a non US person, it’s something I’ve wondered about for a while. As I understand it, trump put major $$ into the military, so how come they came and said their most important thing to do was promote lgbt rights worldwide (is that the US military’s most pressing need?)? And there was seemingly stacks of super left members left to look after the capital (who seemingly didn’t mind sleeping in garages). And with the vaccine development, if trump facilitated stacks more funding, how is it that things have turned out the way they have with mega woke policies in place (such as you are prioritised if you are a person of colour)? If I’ve got anything wrong, please correct me. I am just confused as it seems like a bite the hand that feeds situation

It's because they are like that in the first place, and the same reason as how any field in the world becomes corrupt over time: they will largely accept/promote fellow commie travelers, which makes the orgs do their "betrayal" quite casually. Not betrayal if they were never on the side of good. Only the unwise would have thought they were "loyal opposition" at worst; they are not, since they are born evil.
Trump's attempt to help them will not change the fact they are genetically/spiritually incapable of doing the right thing, because they are leftists and don't have the DNA for righteousness. In fact, that's a large part of how many of them were accepted into med school or promoted in the army.
