That doesn't say it was privated for opinions that google dislikes, it was for graphic violence, and to have it unprivated that violence has to be redacted. That's actually a really light punishment, when youtube could have taken down the video entirely and given her a strike.
I didn't say it was shadowbanning. But shadowbanning is one of those "censorship light" thingies that have real world impact on the spreading of conservative speech and the income of conservative commentators.Sometimes light forms of censorship are more effective than outright banning things.
That's what the algorithm is for, not privating a video until a section of graphic violence gets removed, and then allowing the restoration of the video with zero alteration to the opinion whatsoever.
Doesn't say that either, it says "make sure it doesn't violate our violent or graphic content policy"
The censored video was titled “Why Does The Left Blame White People for Everything?” and had been available on Loomer’s channel without incident for three years.
So? A rule violation is a rule violation. It's more than likely there was a rule change between when it was uploaded and now, which is probably why YT didn't come down with the hammer.
This simply isn't censorship. They're not saying "don't give your opinion", they're saying "we don't like that violence, please remove that and then you're good."
Because they just say shit like that. Like how they say "don't spread disinformation about covid!". It doesn't matter if it's real, it doesn't matter if it's graphic. Youtube lets big media post "graphic" and "shocking" video all the time. It's their lifeblood.
Youtube does bad shit, but not all shit they do is bad. I'd also much, MUCH rather go back to a less centralized internet. Youtube running their platform however they want doesn't irk me.
Graphic content, violence, is all over youtube. They targeted her for political reasons. You're playing dumb, or just dumb. Either way, your opinion is irrelevant. When showing left wing terrorism is banned for "violence" you know the intention is to hide their kins crimes.
On youtube right now I can watch a man shoot, then slowly execute his two neighbors. I can find endless videos from big channels on this. They are not removed for "graphic content". Hell, I'm a fan of a particular channel called active self protection. All over his videos are people being shot and killed. Where is youtube? He's a big channel. They know about him. They don't mind. They do when it's a right winger showing video evidence of left wing terrorism though.
This, a political video. Was. Because it's a right wing political figure.
Your "simple facts" are now proven wrong. Youtube does not care about graphic content. They care about political content.

Light punishment? Like shadow banning? Fuck censorship.
That's not what shadowbanning is.

You are way to naive as to how censorship works.
This simply isn't censorship. They're not saying "don't give your opinion", they're saying "we don't like that violence, please remove that and then you're good."

Stop being a dumb bootlicker.

Paid shill. Ignore.
I wish I was paid for pointing out simple facts.
Or for lying about simple facts.

So, you gonna keep pretending?
For a 3 year old video. No that's fucking stupid. I want to see 1 case of it happening to the left
