It's not like General Lee or any number of other people around the 1860's didn't ask "What, exactly, are we supposed to do with 5,000,000 uneducated, unemployed blacks when this war is over"? It's racists for asking that, but it would appear 150 years later Democrats still don't know what to do with the slave population they freed because "muh feels".
I wasn't talking about 2021. I was saying; people asked 150 years ago "How are we supposed to fold these people into our infrastructure and make them viable members of our society. They have zero education, zero support system, zero means to build that support system etc." Just like today, they were ridiculed as racists for asking an extremely viable question. It's all well and good to have wanted to free the slaves, but NO ONE had any idea what to do with them once they were free. 150 years later they STILL don't know what to do with the slave population that was freed. Did they all rush to take their free education? Did they rush to fill those jobs created by Affirmative action? Did they try to appropriate themselves into the culture and society? Did they free themselves from tribalism? You ask answer those questions and let me know if we've solved that problem 150 years later.

If they hate America so much, get your ass to Liberia. It’s literally what it was founded for 🙃
