It literally is. He said there is no way to the Father but through the Son, and he said that all fall short of the glory of the Father. If you don't think Jesus would call all people sinners then you don't know Jesus I'm afraid.
Sorry friend but that's wrong, what you are saying is a common misconception or misinterpretation of the event. Jesus was reprimanding the crowd for what they were about to do, which was to stone a whore to death. He didn't want anyone to cast the stone because judgement (punishment) is God's job. So it wasn't for calling her a sinner, it was for attempting to punish her.
